We have a client that has a problem of listening to the changes via SystemConfigurationChangedIndication and they have Failover setup, when login to the server, what server address should we advice the client ? In the case if we have been using the correct address and I would like to inspect the MIPLogs from Event Server, where can I view these logs ?
If you have a failover Management Server the setup is to have an address that never changes. Example; a cluster with two nodes have the same cluster address no matter if which of the two nodes is active.
Hi Bo
It looks like they already have setup the same address, in this case where can I see the MIP Logs from Event Server ?
Logging will be made at the active Event Server. [C:\ProgramData\Milestone\XProtect](file:C:/ProgramData/Milestone/XProtect) Event Server\logs\MIPLogs
I guess this is a hard one because here you need to know the address of the node that was active at the time, and this information is not in XProtect as XProtect only need to know the cluster address.
Hi Bo
While waiting to find out the logs, I wonder if SystemConfigurationChangedIndication should be trigger as usual through the cluster address ?
