We are working on integrating our cameras with Milestone System using our custom camera driver via MIPS driver framework.
Occasionally when adding a device, a timeout message appears, but the camera is functioning normally. After restarting the Recording server, the device can be successfully added.
When the timeout message appeared we analyzed the discovery logs, during discovery using “Auto-detect” option, Milestone creates multiple instances of driver for the same camera IP address. This results in either delaying the process or operation timeout. Milestone discovery logs are attached here.
Could you please advise us how to proceed further.
