When doing StartExport(start end) is there any limit?

Say that I have an export set up with 20 cameras, and the time between start and end is weeks or months.

Are there any limitations? We have a customer who wants to make a mirror of the video data for very long-term/permanent archiving.

Currently our software can do regular scheduled exports but way back when we were making the solution, we set a 24 max export time.

There is no hardcoded limit and there is no official or documented limit.

The experience from Milestone Support is that it is a very bad idea to export for a long duration. I would strongly recommend not to increase the limit.

There is of course differences in how systems are specified, performing, used and maintained, to that end we have no systematic testing at Milestone.

The thing is. When you say 24 hours work for you I would say stick to that. If you had said you had issues I would have advised to lower it.

Thanks! My target customer in this query indicated that they have a really great network. My fear would be bad network performance and exports failing..
