Why won't my camera record?

I am trying to integrate our new camera into XProtect. I can add the camera through ONVIF or Universal driver, but XProtect will not record the streams.

View->Show Recording Streams

shows the “recording” stream, but no video is actually recorded. I have the recording optinos enabled. Other cameras work correctly with the same options. I am guessing the record server does not like the format of my RTSP video stream. Is there some logging I can look at which tells me what it thinks about my h264 video stream, or the reason it’s not recording?

There is no error shown in the GUI. It just doesn’t show the happy little red recording dot.
