XPCO version 5.0c - Can't Connect to Server after upgrading MIP sdk to latest 5.1e

Hi, I am using Milestone Xprotect Corporate 5.0c

With MIP sdk sp3 (previous released version (5.1.0.0)) I was able to regularly connect to my system and use your .net componets examples.

Today I upgraded to MIP sdk 5.1e (latest version available) and I can’t connect anymore (I have tried different examples)!

“Failed to connect to server ()”

In debug (exception says 'unable to connect to endpoint) I have seen that Login(uri) tries to connect to

…\ManagementServer/ServerCommandService.svc

which doesn’t exist!!!

Is Corporate 5.0c still supported by MIP sdk?

How can i tell to Login function that my system is 5.0c??

Hi, you should check the product-lifecycle. The “latest version” of the SDK is not tested or designed to work with terminated products.

I reproduced the issue, I will raise it with the Milestone Development.

It is true that XProtect Corporate 5.0 is discontinued, however the MIP SDK tries to maintain backwards compatibility..

If you have this issue with MIP SDK 5.1e please use this MIP SDK 5.1f instead -
