In the Milestone Management Client there is a “Server Logs” section displaying camera communications errors. I would like to know the following:
1 - In addition to camera communications errors, does the "Server logs include all error messages including recording server communications errors etc? Is there a configuration section for what goes into the Server logs (e.g. types of errors, which recording servers can generate the errors etc)?
2 - Where are these server logs being generated? Are they being generated by the recording servers or by the Management servers?
3 - Are these system logs being store in a database that I can query? If so, what are the DB tables that I need to reference? I would prefer to use a DB query to extract this information instead of using the export feature of the Milestone Management client, because the client exports these records in a CSV format and I am seeing that some of the log messages include commas, which result in issues with loading them into a spreadsheet for further analysis.
