XProtect Client 2020 Plugin

Hello,

We are using custom plugin to view camera video stream. It used to work until 2019 R3 Client. After updating to 2020 R2 we do not see video feed from camera into the view.

XProtect Client: 2020 R2

Video Server: 2020 R2 Essential+

From the html page, we use SCS object to send which camera to view in the camera view.

It would of great help, if we know what has changed in plugins for 2020 R2 with secure channel.

Please verify that you can see video with normal Smart Client (not your custom plugin) with the same camera.

Does the view not get modified the way you expect or does it get modified and then the camera fails?

Please show me the error message displayed (if any)..

Can you include a snippet of the html / code showing how you use the SCS object?

Thank You for the reply. It was in the XProtect Client config which was False. After setting it to True everything worked normally.

Thank you for sharing the solution. I wish I had thought of this and mentioned it, it is the simplest explanation when not being able to run these scripts..
