Hi,
Yesterday I upgraded from XProtect Go 2014 to 2016 including the IOS app.
Hereafter I have not been able to connect to via the IOS app to my Xprotect-server.
I have - from reading - here switchen from HTTPS to HTTP but this does not help. I have no problem connecting using the XProtect Smart Client 2016 (64-bit).
My firewall log displays that a connection is made, so it’s not a FW issue.
Does the Go version no longer support using the Mobile Server component?
For some reasion I don’t understand the Mobile Server keeps saying “The server is accessible through tiner Internet: N/A”.
Also when I try to browse http://localhost:8081 I get “invalid request”.
I have tried to reinstall the compleate XProtect Go and components without any luck.
A bonus question: How come it’s not possiable in the new IOS app to remove “Milestone Demo” server. This was an option in the old version.
Besides these issues, Xprotect Go is a great product, thanks.
Kind regards,
Søren
Looking in the Widnows event log showed an error.
Issue solved by following the resolution here - worked on my Windows7 box although the links says applies for Windows Server 2008:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/c3681113-3dfa-4908-a5b0-69486f752c14.aspx
Nontheless, Mobile Server still says ‘not connected’ in the Management but now I’m able to connect with the IOS app.

Well, now the Mobile Server Manager says “Service is running but port 8000 is occupied by another program” - Then I tried to change the port according to this:
https://force.milestonesys.com/support/MccSupportCommunity#!/feedtype=SINGLE_ARTICLE_SEARCH_RESULT&id=kA4200000008d8C
But then it just says the new port is occupied, no matter what port I try it is still occupied. Also when the Mobile Server Manager and Service is stopped the port 8000 is no longer listed in TCPView. So it seems as something in Milestone itself is using port 8000, strange.
So something must has gone wrong duing the upgrade from 2014 to 2016.
